		<description>I heard a lot of stories like that from my mom when she stayed in the US in the 70&#039;s. The task of emulating our cusine in a foreign land is quite an undertaking due to difference in raw materials. But I did partake in a &#039;Sinigang&#039; feast when I was in Japan...as it turns out, the Japanese cook I met is crazy about sinigang and adobo. And coincidentally, my &#039;senpai&#039; in the office there has to have his weekly &#039;fix&#039; of sinigang in a restaurant in Roppongi.</description>
